version 1.7

Version 1.7 was released on 01/11/2005.

Relative to version 1.6, 1.7 has the following major changes:
Formatting tags
introduces formatting tags within the <content> tag set, enabling effects such as bold, italic, underline, emphasis, big and small, as well as supporting the <p> and <br> HTML tags to allow paragraph layout.
Predecessor and Successor links
For each process, predecessor and successor links can be defined, allowing following of a chain of processes.
Local hyperlinks
Hyperlinks (available since version 1.5) can now be local, i.e. can refer to places within the current document.
Improved printing
Printing now includes the key properties of a process as well as the list of its subordinate processes.
RACI
On-screen and printed ordering of the R.A.C.I. terms has been corrected from ARCI to RACI.

version 1.6

The 01/02/2005 release of ModProm is version 1.6. Features of 1.6 (relative to 1.5) are as follows:
Initial ISO-9000 Functionality
When the ISO-9000 option is enabled and an entry is modified, the changed item is time and date-stamped together with the user ID.
Improved spell-checking
Spell checking has been greatly improved with the basic spell checker expanded to 175,000 words and provision for custom, proper-name and place-name supplementary dictionaries.
Images for each process
Each process can have an image associated with it using the <object data="url"> syntax; naturally, <object data="url"> can be re-defined to anything you consider more suitable, such as <image href="url"> or even <img src="url">
Data Text Editor
When editing data, a full-screen text editor with advanced text editing functions can be used instead of the in-line editor; this is especially useful for editing large blocks of text.
HTML Snapshots
The entire process set, once documented and loaded, can be generated as an HTML snapshot, allowing interaction with the process set on an Intranet or via the Internet without the need to use ModProm itself.

version 1.5 and earlier

There are no longer any installed copies of these earlier version.
