Example 0: This example (new on 19th May, 2009) demonstrates the retrieval of insolation, temperature and windspeed data for a postcode. The data, provided by NASA's Atmospheric Science Data Center, covers a 22-year period (July 1983 - June 2005) and comprises monthly averages for those years. The insolation figures are for direct normal radiation, i.e. the radiation measure is what would be measured on a plate corrrectly oriented toward the sun throughout the day.

This example demonstrates a simple calculation of the distance between two Australian Post-codes:
